Hokuriku Shinkansen resume services from Oct 25th after typhoon damage

Today (October 13th), JR East had announced the resumption of Hokuriku Shinkansen services on October 25th. The Shinkansen service will restart on October 25th, as damages from typhoon 19 to the tracks are repaired and checked for safety.

From October 25th to November 30th, the service will be running with less trains. That is due to some of the rolling stock flooded during the typhoon and are still under repairs. All seat reservations for Hokuriku Shinkansen will resume by 1100 hrs local time on October 24th.
